Born from the Musical Heritage of Rajasthan

RaagDhaani’s story begins in Rajasthan, where music is woven into everyday life, celebrations, traditions, and stories passed down through generations. Inspired by this extraordinary cultural heritage, RaagDhaani was created to bring the richness of Rajasthani Folk Music to contemporary audiences through authentic live musicianship and soulful performances.

From the timeless melodies of Kesariya Balam and traditional Folk compositions to Sufi, Indian Classical and Devotional music, our repertoire celebrates the depth and diversity of India’s musical traditions. Hansraj – Khartal Maestro | Folk Percussionist

With over two decades of experience in the world of Rajasthani folk music, Hansraj is a celebrated folk artist whose rhythm carries the soul of Rajasthan. Beginning his musical journey as a dhol player, he gradually mastered the art of khartal and morchang, evolving into one of the most versatile folk percussionists in the industry.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Hansraj is proficient in five or more traditional instruments, bringing authenticity, energy, and depth to every performance. His exceptional command over rhythm and his deep understanding of Rajasthan’s musical heritage have earned him opportunities to represent Indian folk music on prestigious stages across the globe.

As a key member of RaagDhaani, Hansraj’s performances blend tradition with electrifying stage presence, creating unforgettable experiences for audiences.
